I believe AUM files are stored in thebaudioshare folder. You need to enable

Thank you. I figured it out.

  • I'd recommend AUM + HarmonicDog's MultiTrack DAW. Sounds like you don't need too much MIDI. There will be some dragging and dropping needed. MultiTrack DAW probably has the most actual songs/ recordings output on this forum thanks to @flo26 and others. And you should be able to map Blueboard to AUM no problem.

The 2 things that still got me hooked on GB are:

    1. drums/drummers/smart drums - Its so easy to get a beat rollin and start riffing
With the help of one or two third party drum apps I guess I could do the same thing.

Old thread but still feeling this part. Lumbeat apps are fantastic but the dead easy integration of the Drummers within GB is a delight. I can't find a match for it. Perhaps Steinberg should shove mountains of money in Luis' direction? :+1:

I just finished jamming with funk drummer, ibassist and afro drum in AUM, it was fantastic, had a great time, I still miss those GB drummers sometimes, Logan the king of rock!
If Luis did a sale on jazz/rock/soft guys I think a lot of us woud shove at least a small hill of cash in his direction :)

You can use Audiobus to remote control Auria Pro.

I would love to know how to set this up. Do I need the Audiobus Remote app?

Auria Pro does allow the use of controllers that use the HUI protocol to control start/stop, >record, R/W control data for a channel etc..it also reads and sends MTC and MMC.

Are there apps that support any of the above, MTC, MMC, HUI?
Most of the hardware and apps I own only support Midi Clock, which Auria cannot receive.

Trying to figure out a way I can press the play button on my Yamaha PSR-E453 keyboard and have is start/ stop Auria. Works with AB, grooverider...

  • @Optahealth if you run the output of AP into a channel in Audiobus or you run the output of Audiobus into a channel in Auria Pro you get an AP icon with a play and record button sitting inside Audiobus. So you could have things running in Audiobus and control AP's start, stop and record from there. There is no sync. Although Audiobus is open to receiving sync and Auria Pro will send it. (maybe something not working right at my end - I'll need to fiddle with things a little and see why that doesn't work). HUI is none existent in iOS land. It's useful if you have external controllers for mixing etc that use this. MTC and MMC seem to be only compatible with hardware as well although it would be nice to have something more of that in the box.

I either record in AUM and then export or record straight in MT Daw. The only issue is only 4 effect slots per track for MT Daw. If you want AUM into MT Daw that would require Audiobus.
