Mutual Appreciation Society: Let's give each other a reason to do this whole "share yer stuff" thing
Sooo... While we all wait for the last horseman to show up, all safe and snug in our self-isolating quarantine chambers (remember when they used to quarantine the sick people and not the healthy ones?) at home, I'd like to propose that:
1) If you're not currently doing stuff to "share" that you start. Burp into a reverb app and post it. Gotta start somewhere.
2) "But wait" I hear you say... "Why the F would I bother to do that? I have no one that follows me, sooo... What's the point?". See part #3
3) I'd like to propose that at the very least, as a "benefit" of being on this Bulletin Board (I'm old) we should at least help spread the virus of iOS music/noise.
So, I'm proposing that with this thread, just reply with your "music name" and links to your various social media/sharing profiles. Then everyone else should visit and follow/share/repost/etc.
That way you won't feel so pathetic "sharing" to your two followers (your mom and dog), but will be able to share to the 10 people that will actually do this.
Maybe @Michael could make this "sticky" and figure out how to make circular mutual love a thing we "do" here?
To get ya inspired:
If you follow me, I'll follow you...
God, I'm clever...

Just on Instagram right now.
Could anyone give me pointers on where to start making clips for Instagram? How do take a nugget of a song and add video/image to it for posting on YouTube or Instagram?

Here's what I do... I'm hardly an expert, but I tried a bunch of stuff and kept getting bogged down...
I've personally settled on this because IG seems more active in terms of the social media aspect vs. YouTube (no one ever looks at my shit on YT... So maybe it just sucks? But I think it's harder to pop up there...), and I put stuff on Soundcloud because there's still a social aspect but the audio quality is better...
So... Obviously looking at my pathetic follower list (which I suspect are Russian Bride bots most of the time) I'm hardly an expert, but I have banged my head against a wall enough to leave marks, so maybe you'll find this useful?
iMovie works well. Hyperspektiv can add cool effects. And LumaFusion FX is on sale today.
@MonkeyDrummer @animalelder thanks!
Sure, I’ll play too! Already following many, but excited to see what the others are up to...
Everything I post is live performed on iOS devices (for now, I might expand the toolset later...)
Instagram is for documenting ideas and experiments, full length “finished” tracks on YouTube.

I’ll play. One of these tracks was hardware synths and a VSTi, but recording, live FX and post processing was all iPad. The rest are iPad only.
My project name: Ray Subject. All my released music for last 10 years is iPad-only made, mostly NS,NS2, few tracks BM2. Used various iOS but also HW synths more or less..
Genre: trance, psytrance, edm, chillout/downtempo

On my iPad, if those albums are supposed to be linked to the sites like Spotify etc, they don’t seem to be working. Just FYI
I did a search on Spotify and found a few. I like this one ‘ Redmoon Storm’
Found more of your stuff. Dude, this stuff is really good. You did this on iOS?!

Impressive stuff. You deserve more listens I think.
yeah, that's all Nanostudio 2 with few AUplugins (namingly: FAC Transient, FAC Chorus, BramBos Perforator, Rozetta Arp, Korvpressor, Luxe and DAW Casetter. If i good remember there is Pure Acid used in one track and ShockWave in one or two tracks for some lead sounds, also a little bit of Zeeon for one or two sounds somewhere ... In general i'm trying to avoid using AU synths to minimise CPU load and maximise stability 90% of sounds is Obsidian and NS2 bundled FXs)
mastering was done on desktop in Logic, but nothing major, it was more just about volume adjusting and some final limiter to match all tracks loudness together ... it was "stem" mastering, i like this method - i basically exported every song from NS2 as 4 groups - "kick, bass, drums and synths" to have ability to adjust volumes - then i loaded all songs into one big Logic project and using LUFS meter on master i fine tuned relativne loudness of each track compared to other tracks ...
Thanks
Oooh .... thanks, fixed !
