Using FF plug-ins in apeMatrix... is it possible ?

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible, or not, with apeMatrix, to create the same configuration I've done in AUM where I send my guitar signal to Auria in order to use Saturn, Volcano 2 and Timeless 2 ?
Here are screenshots of my AUM and Auria templates :

In AUM, I've created 8 busses that send my guitar signal to 8 tracks in Auria. Each of theses 8 tracks in Auria sends it's "own signal" to one of the 8 subgroups that contain the FX... Theses subgroups then send audio back in AUM.

I just can't see any way to reproduce this setup in apeMatrix 🤔. @Daveypoo, you certainly know the way to make this work ?😉

  • Have you tried the apeMatrix Mixer Send/Receive plugin?

Yes, I've spend lots of time trying to figure out how to make the same setup, but apeMatrix is tricky.
When you're in Auria, choosing ports to AUM is really clear :
    Kymatica: AUM (port 1) (inst)
    Kymatica: AUM (port 2) (inst)
    ...
    Kymatica: AUM (port 8) (inst)

But, choosing ports to apeMatrix isn't (for me) as clear as for AUM :
    apeMatrix (Bus A)
    apeMatrix (Bus B )
    apeMatrix (Fx)
    apeMatrix (instr) (inst)

Is that we can only send signal to one track in Auria ?
In apeMatrix, it's also tricky to understand (for me) where the signal comes back from Auria...

This is one of the biggest limitations of apeMatrix (the other being stem recording), you only have the three IAA outputs to work with: Instr (the main output), Bus A and Bus B, instead of the 8 available in AUM.

Bringing the signal back into apeMatrix you can pull all 8 channels from Auria.

Ok ; I thought that a trick to obtain the same setup I use in AUM could exist... it's a pity 🥴.
