Hi @u0421793,
You can freely transfer your Cubasis LE 2 instrument and effect in-app purchases, these are the steps:

nvm - already answered
The Sonic Port only comes with Lightning and 30-pin dock connectors. Can’t plug it into a hub.
Not sure if that helps, but you can either use the cable from the VX version or solder a USB connector to your cable.

Back on topic:
I was also happy with my unlocked Cubasis 2 LE, so for me getting the IAP for Cubasis 3 LE is more a question if I really need it, I have faith in Steinberg to support it as well as the non LE version.
Yeah this is how I bought Cubasis LE2 upgrade and will be the same way I buy LE3 upgrade, debating right now whether to wait and get it next time around. The whole compatibility upgrade quagmire of iAP for Daws in iOS means I don't buy these any more, stopped doing that after buying Fabfilters in Auria. I'd prefer if developers would not release internal plugins for these apps and make them Audio units.
But I think seeing as all software on iOS has a limited shelf life, this is the best way to buy it imo
Just to answer my own concern. I downloaded LE 3, unlocked it with an eligible iRig interface, and then purchased the upgrade. I then downloaded LE 3 to a second device. On launch it asked me to plug in an interface or run in demo mode. I clicked demo mode, then restored purchases and it did without ever having to connect the iRig.
Hey @LFS,
I downloaded ALL the unlocks in Cubasis 2 LE. I was trying to test Cubasis 3 LE but it didn’t transfer the IAPs. I “bought” one but it charged me. Please advise. I followed the steps In the website but it didn’t work.
I was also unable to transfer the one IAP that I have from Cubasis 2 to Cubasis LE3. I didn't get an option to transfer.
Hi @Samflash3,
These are the available IAP Transfer options and steps required:
https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=242&t=184465
Please follow the instructions, and make sure to have the exact versions installed! Otherwise it will not work.
Best wishes,
Lars
@LFS - I followed those instructions and the pop up never appeared.
Hey Lars,
Still no luck. Followed the steps but same result. It’s only restoring one (the one that charged me) when I bought them all.
Note in my case I had Cubasis 2 (not LE) - and am trying to transfer to Cubasis 3 LE.
Is it possible that flow is not supported?
Not supported, dropped you a PM.
Please let me have a detailed report (see form below).
Cubasis LE 3 is unlocked?
Yes, LE 3 is unlocked as well.
Thank you!
This was exactly my concern. Love this forum.
