I fixed my old recording pc and found a few gems that had been locked in for years
Wondering if this one is worth a revisit or lock it back up?

Hmm. Might just be me, but I'm getting a 'Permission Required' page...

I forgot to turn on link sharing. Should work now

  • I like it a lot. I expected applause at the end, because the song deserves it, but because it also felt as though you were playing (with both of you singing, clever goose) on a small stage somewhere...while it is far more modern in (lovely) vocal tone, it reminded me of James Taylor in its wistfulness which is an important arrow to own, and you do.

Much thanks Johnny, JT was a huge influence growing up and still is.

  • Yes, hear a lot of JT but also bits of Nick Drake/Bert Jansch in less melodic bits. I like it, the song as well as the recording.

I sometimes feel like James Taylor has singlehandedly invented the whole folk sub genre.

Nick Drake definitely love everything Nick Drake. No too familiar with Bert Jansch. Thanks I'll check him out.
