Studiomux new ipad
iPad mini2 works with studiomux and pc at moment.
Recently got new iPad pro
But my pc doesn't acknowledge that iPad pro has been plugged in. So doesn't work with studiomux.
Is this because I installed an old iTunes a long time ago, suggested by studiomux ?
Do I need to install the latest version of iTunes for iPad pro to be recognized??
And after that will studiomux then cease to work ?
Main aim is to use my iPad pro with pc and Ableton and studiomux, or will it all cease to work .... I don't have the old version of iTunes anymore to revert back if that was a way of keeping everything working
Many thanks in advance for any help or knowledge from you great people

Definitely an iTunes version issue for the new iPad Pro. I've had varying success with Studiomux, but I had it going with a version of iTunes that was current last year with Windows 10 running Reaper, Ableton Lite and Studio One. I haven't looked at it recently so not sure if it will still work.....give me a minute and I'll fire up the PC and have a look under the hood....
Thanks for the quick response
Interested to hear your update if you have the time today @arktek
@Nicebutfun The setup is Windows 10 Pro on a Dell XPS13, iTunes v 12.9.3.3, iPadOS 13.4, iPad Pro 9.7....Haven't done that in a while. Plugged it in. Fired up Live lite, set up a studiomux vst. Recorded the output and I now have a new audio take from the iPad. I haven't been back in Windows land for a while, but it all seemed to work.
The main thing is that if you want to use the later iPad OS then you will more than likely have to update the iTunes driver to see it in Windows, that's the risky jump, but if those specs I just posted work then I would say it should work for you.
There might be an issue with the iPad mini though depending on the OS it's working with...iTunes and OS versions seem to go hand in hand. What version OS is on the mini?
Thanks again
The pro is 13.3 or 13.4
The mini can't update any more, so that's sitting on 12.4 I think
I guess I am going to have to take a chance, as the pro is my main device
Thanks again
Cool. anytime.
