FAC Maxima/Aum: feedback when used with external audio?
Hi,
I'm trying to use Maxima as a master limiter/compressor with an external audio source (Deluge). the iPad is using an external audio interface (Babyface Pro), through which i send the Deluge signal into Aum, and insert Maxima here.
It works as expected, however I cannot figure out how to get rid of a short feedback coming from Maxima or from Aum. I checked the settings of both apps but can't figure out what's wrong...
Any help much appreciated, thanks!

You may be hearing 2 signals coming from the Babyface.
One being direct monitoring of input signal, the other the effected signal going through the iPad and back out (with added latency).
Check if you can disable direct monitoring on the Babyface.
That was it indeed! Not very familiar yet with the Babyface controls. I used the RME Totalmix FX iOS app to disable direct monitoring. Thanks for the help!
👍🏻
Glad it worked out.
