Does your star sign influence your music?

Does the character traits of your star sign influence your musical expression?
If yes, name your star sign and your style(s) and the music you prefer listening to.

As Pisces myself it is all about the escape and trip away from everything, not the same old same old...

This by André Ceccarelli was recorded in the late 70s (IN ONE TAKE!) and is in my opinion a real unknown gem in music history and a VERY good trip away from everything

Bulls Hit? In other words Taurus ;)

  • Yes. Being Sagittarius, I usually use a bow and arrows to play synths. Also, having hooves rather than feet causes premature wear on the sustain pedal.
I think if I was Libra I’d be better at scales.

It's not that I didn't want to know so for a while, I've tried to find a correlation between birth sign and either musical style or the fact of being a musician at all but I've not found any distinct relation.
There must be much more to it than just the zodiac sign.

Musicians are found in all signs but since these twelve signs are very different I'd thought I'd check out what seperates and what unifies but the first comment made it clear that maybe this is not welcome here ;)

I don’t believe in zodiac signs but more than once I was surprised that people that were born in my birth month shared similar character traits and preferences. So my explanation would be that it maybe has to do with the weather or time of the year someone was born in. Winter babies start their life inside of the house with parents that might be more on the melancholic side whereas summer babies might experience the outside world much earlier and might have parents with lighter moods.
I’m sure the very first time a human experiences outside of the womb has a great impact on his/her life.
    Well that’s my theory 😄

I was born in winter I like shelter am more on the introvert side and enjoy and play ambient music.

  • No but when the blood moon stays high.....oh wait i cannot say that here.

One of many comments is one of many opinions, not more and not less.

  • Everything affects everything. Children conceived during certain times of the year where alcohol consumption is more prevalent are likely to be different than others. Children who are in their earliest, most emotionally impressionable months during stressful times like the holidays may very well have a different level of emotional maturity than others.

Just some examples. But everything affects everything. So yes.

  • I’m all up in this shnizzle

Never mind him. If he can’t be nice just stick him on Ignore. He joined less than a month ago and has only made 4 comments. You won’t miss much.

Sure, everything does affect everything. The problem is that dispersion is so large that even if you could say, for instance, that people born in the winter are in average more introverted, you can't use that average to say anything meaningful about a single individual.

I thought that would be Pisces since you know...fish scales?

I’m a Libra and I’ve always felt pulled toward harmony and flow in music, which kinda matches the way I approach creating loops. Out of curiosity, I checked trusted-psychics.co.uk for a chart reading, and it was interesting how some of the traits they laid out aligned with how I vibe musically. Not saying it’s super scientific, but it gave me a fun new lens to think about my style.

That cyclical nature does exert influence should be of no surprise but I think it’s level of influence is often over exaggerated.

  • I’m a Taurus and my music tends towards the daily production of bullshit. But I am not a believer in the influence of the
stars, planets or even low orbiting satellites… wait my broadcast service is satellite based since I live in a very old neighborhood
    with decaying infrastructure.

Astronomers and cosmologists know that celestial bodies have influenced the planet, solar system, galaxy and so on, the question is in what way and how much they have influenced the planet over time, given this it’s a obvious they have influenced its occupants too.

My neighbor can influence me because we share a wall.

Someone on the other side of the planet? Not so much in common.

Really given the collabs on this forum, that contradicts what you post, this tiny island in the maelstrom of the cosmos is really a fragile temporal time-space. Try always to enjoy the shared experience.

I like this Zen approach to life without the manmade conflicts of politics and divisive religion.

Manmade - the creation of man, yet man is a creation of nature, so it’s all natural.
The essence of reasoning is not in the creation but the choice of purpose of that creation.
