The downside to the upgrade is again more memory lost to iOS - I lost about 150MB. Did an A/B test - sync'ed twice before upgrading. Sync'ed again after. 150MB less :-(

At first I thought this was correct, but after using sys activity app I was able to claw back to about 500mb free ram which was typical before 7.1. Or are you talking about disk storage, not ram?

  • I think he meant 150mb storage space ?

I do hope so, I'm running at 95% best of times

  • Wow, Auria running in parallel with other apps on iPad2. Is that for real?

Does anyone have any fedback on IAA?

@ChrisG, couldn't you sell your "lemon" and regress back to one of those iPad's you seem to think is better and make a few extra bucks in the whole exchange?

Am I wrong then? I'm only stating facts, nothing else. And perhaps some people might be interested to know that that these very basic and obvious things still aren't resolved (and probably never will be on this lemon), before updating. I'm not gonna turn a blind eye to shoddy products, software or hardware. If you no likey, don't shoot the messenger! :)

  • funny,i could swear i'm not holding a lemon in my hand when playing with the mini retina.Just stating a fact ;-p

  • Ah.. The lemon discussion back, great....

My mini retina still showing IAA 'idiosyncrasies'... Alchemy loaded onto midi track in Cubasis needing Cubasis relaunch before loading. AUFX all need a relaunch before letting signal pass through... Same old same old for me!

  • Bad news. I bought a lemon a couple of days ago. Tried to get a refund, but the greengrocer refused to even consider it...

  • Apple's original USB CCK is still working on iPhone 5 here. More testing will be done later.

  • We have lemon laws in the states, but they don't really apply to lemons.

The whole endeavour was completely fruitless...

  • You 2 guys really need to go on the road together. Lol.

  • I would, but @PaulB's fruit fixation worries me.

We have lemon laws in the uk but they don't really apply to apples.
    I miss trolling thread :(

  • WARNING!I just updated to iOS 7.1 and all of a sudden there is no output from AURIA.Deleted
and reinstalled - no change. Can't use Auria anymore!!!
This is not related to Audiobus, but maybe there are some Auria users in this forum too?!

  • Sunrizer seems to have stopped working as well. Loads up ok and plays the first patch ok but when you try and browse through the patches it jumps back to the home screen! Still seems to be running in the background but stuck on that first sound.

    IPad Air by the way..

  • Just created a new project in Auria on my iPad Air. Plays back fine through the iPad. Are you using an external interface?

  • Auria and Sunrizer work fine on my ipad 2.

  • Just deleted Sunrizer and re-installed. Still the same.

  • Within Audiobus everything works fine. But Auria standalone has no output anymore through
the iPad speaker, no interface.I'm on iPad 4,latest version of Auria etc.

  • Sunrizer is also pooped on my Air.

  • @Schimanski ... try creating a new project and record a little with the built in mic. No Audiobus. Just mic recording. This worked fine for me on my Air.

Auria....I did a very in-depth test using state of the art built in iPad Air speakers, and it sounds like someone slapped one of those alarm-clock/phone-speaker EQ filters on the output (on all three audio modes under settings). So that's new. Have no clue yet if it affects the earphone plug-out and/or audio out via the lightning connection. Hope not!

  • More people with Auria and/or Sunrizer problems (on latest devices) here?

  • @Schimanski Auria is working fine for me with a mini 16 I upgraded. No problem.

  • Sunrizer keeps crashing here as well. iPad Air , iOS 7.1. Crap, I hope BeepStreet is on top of it. The finest VA on the AppStore. :/

  • However - sunrizer is crashing as described - patch browse -> go to iPad home screen.

  • Update. Sunrizers crashing for me also on patch browse.

  • Just updated to 7.1 - so far so good. Some visual elements are a little different, perhaps a bit easier to see, but I haven't noticed anything amiss. As for the music functionality: I'm not deep enough into what I have to gauge any issues there yet. Beware - the update will need 2.5GB of space, so you may have to temporarily delete a few apps before you do it.

  • Check: Settings > Privacy > Microphone...
Make sure they are switched on for all audio apps.
