The thing I like about drambo: I can do just about anything I want with it.

With Great Power comes Great Opportunities 😬

And Great Time-Sucks instead of making Great Music. 🙂

Nah...Once you get use to the workflow you’ll be flowing like mad 👊🏼™️

  • I think Dave’s Pooh’s vids are best to start, followed by the “Siund For More ” guys videos and THEN Ben’s which strike me more as a master class type thing.

    I would agree with this.

Yep, options can be a distraction... the most difficult thing with Octatrack for me was to find where does it fit in my setup not to learn how to use it...
If you use only 5% of what it's capable but happy with the results, it's worth it.
My suspicion is that Drambos biggest strength will be its community driven content and that is something we all can enjoy

I think I may mostly just end up using Drambo as a sequencer for AUv3s. I’ve spent too much acquiring them just to abandon everything, but once Drambo gets midi learn I can see it working well for jams in AUM. I did some nice pseudorandom patterns the other night, the sequencer is really a lot deeper than it looks at first glance. I look forward to it driving StepPolyArp.

  • I just crossed over from "buyers regret" land to "holy smokes this is god" territory. The fader really does it for me lemme tell ya

Haha, good point. That’s how I feel about my wife’s multi-tool kitchen blender. (Apologies if it sounds sexist but I’m the knife and chopping board type. And I hate cleaning all that mess afterwards).

This is brilliant (because it makes sense to me). A piano and a cigar box is all a man needs. And you're absolutely right, it's the putting together and then the cleaning of those complicated things that makes the whole production seem more trouble than it's worth. To be fair she always says that once I get it incorporated into my workflow I'll never look back etc :)

Agreed. I want to use it, but I want the instrument presets within it already (may it please the boffin team etc :))

  • Is there an established user library for this like there is for miRack and Mozaic?

Yay, great. That was fast! Didn't think to look there so soon :) Thanks...

  • Drambo is $%@# amazing! Since the last days I can't even start my ipad and not thinking to load it. Half the time I use it inside cubasis 3 aswell (cause, well, i like me some linear daw) and use it for everything I can imagine. It compliments my flow both ways.

But the best thing I can say about is that I still don't know how deep can go. It fires your creativity. With time it could be a complete daw as Ableton is... who knows?

Ya ya...I know I sound like a dumb fanboy... hahaha. But this is a post called "drambo praise". Isn't it? So...Here is my praise. :D

Morning everybody. Stay safe and happy.

  • Purchased drambo yesterday.
8 hours later I created a synth with 4 oscillators and a sampler producing crazy drones. This machine is evil.
