discord 4 left and right pitch lock

is there a way to lock both left and right pitch knobs together so they can be raised and lower at the same time?

  • No, I contacted the developer about this, and had a back and forth, first he blamed me, then he blamed Apple, then he blamed AU as a whole, then I believe he blamed alien invasion or the alignment of the stars (Sarcasm, but it was getting to that point honestly) and when I called him out on his bullshit, which he really got upset about because he couldn't argue with facts, he said possibly in a future version but don't bet on it.

Sadly there is no other effect like this that you can automate without glitches, but trying to automate two lanes to precisely match in any iOS DAW is akin to tying your shoe laces and wiping your ass at the same time, probably possible, but not pleasant for anybody involved.

Make one in Drambo and send it to him.

    Now that's a challenge and a half.

Have you started making one yet. 😂

Lulz. Without even looking at the title of the thread I knew it was Chris Randall.

Should be easy. Drambo already has a great pitch shifter.
Just use 2 of them with delays and LFOs etc. exactly how you want them.

I’m probably misunderstanding the issue, but can’t you do this by linking the parameters to the same midi cc in your host? Don’t have my physical controller on hand, but I can get the ‘L Pitch Shift‘ and ‘R Pitch Shift’ to respond to the same LFO for example. Can’t imagine that the process is different for a (physical) controller?

  • It’s irritating because the desktop version has a button to lock the left and right shifters. Ah well.

  • yeah the desktop has it, i was just wondering if the app did. just curious
