Endlesss - Layer Deletion

Is there a way to delete or at least replace layers when creating a new riff?

Sometimes you want to pare down sounds as a jam progresses to make room for others, but don't want or can't go back to a previous riff.

As ever, apologies if the answer is painfully obvious, but I searched and found nought!

  • I think you just tap layers ‘off’ then new ones will take the place of ones that are ‘off’.

  • Thanks for the quick reply Audiogus, I’ll give this a try when I jam with my friends tonight.. but if this is the answer to layer management in Endlesss I’ll be confused..

So, you’ve got to wait to be completely filled up on layers before you can begin to replace, and the replacing isn’t manually directed unless you’re only muting one layer at a time?

Such a well designed app should have a better answer to this common utilitarian need. Or maybe I’m missing something

  • You can just turn it off in the mixer. I think new riffs automatically supersede old ones, but you can always call them back.
