[OT] Substantia - Physical modeling laboratory
This looks magnificent - so many materials and shapes to resonate and play with. I would just love having it on iOS. Let's all send the developer (Giorgio Sancristoforo) big sacks of $$ to get him to bring it here.

Hell yes. And that's only 15 euros on desktop?! My god....
We badly need more physical modeling stuff on iOS!
by the way, and also
(one of my favourite apps) : https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/springsound/id866583243#
I'd willingly pay more than the proposed desktop price to have that on my iPad.
I sent an email some days ago but he replayed that he is not thinking to port his apps to iOS, yet.
Wow, that's gorgeous
also check his other tools. quite good:)

When he starts using the contact mic mounted on a box...
I've been wondering how good that one is, given that it seems a little older. I really like using AAS Objeq and CnSnP for surface and string resonance modeling, so it seems like springs would be a logical addition.
I hardly use my laptop but I think I have to buy the desktop version of this right now if it is not being ported to ios. Though nice reminder to check out spring sound again! Yes, Bram, when are you bringing us something like this to iOS?!
Its a great cheap tool. The demo does not show really what it can do.
But no plug-in. Just standalone but possible with workarounds to connect to your DAW.
I‘m a sucker for physical modeling and this is a playfield for experiments.
And its mac only.
(but still the old Sculpture is the king for morphing timbres)
for win and mac and VST check:
Moodal

Are there similar thinhs available in mirack maybe?
There is also this.
https://physicalaudio.co.uk
But mostly looking forward to this here:
https://rhizomatic.xyz
Yes. Though not as deep as this. Also Drambo and I think at least one of the IceGear apps. Don't ask me which one, as I tend to approach those more as instruments and less as synthesizers...
Clueless:
I did actually the *demo for
https://physicalaudio.co.uk/PA3
but that doesnt accept external exciter/input.
even if its a fantastic instrument the way it is.
(i'm half of Makunouchi Bento )
This thing sounds incredible. Definitely check out the demo if u have a mac. Don't think it's available for Windows
It might not my favorite for physical modeling but i just like them all
But like i said i really wonder what Plasmonic will bring (the Absynth creator is involved).
I hear something about self-resonating waveguides and lots of interesting delay options and he also wanted to add kind of sympathetic resonance.
@cian what modules in mirack sound similar? Even if not quite as good. God, really wish there was more of this on iOS.
Or try to recreate with 100 bandpass filters in Drambo
Maybe we could send more emails to the developer, Giorgio. His email is on the website.
I am so getting this. Impaktor for macOS.
i think his products come and go. Not available forever.
What do you mean? Berna and Gleetchlab have been available for more than a decade
Just checked out Derailer and Plasmonic. Take my $. Unfortunately my 2010 MacBook Pro is too old to run Derailer.
Check older but still updated (last was 6months ago) Spring Sound, and Objeq.
Ice Gears Kronecker is great for these sounds too.
Omg it is a true piece of art. Do have to resume cubase on my pc?
Grande Giorgio!
What a wonderful discovery @Scarred_Archimedes!
Fantastic Voyage and Gleetchdrone look good too. Suddenly going Mac based here looks like it was a good plan...
