Is it possible to send audio wirelessly without lag from my laptop into AUM / Apematrix etc?

I mostly use iOS but have a few apps I love on Mac OS.​I mostly prefer not to use my audio interface unless necessary. Is there currently a way to send audio, even just from one app on my Mac, into AUM etc in real time with a lag that is minimal enough for real time music making?

    I'd like to know the same. I had success using musicIO several years ago, but it's abandonware now and audio only travels from iPad to Mac.

    Studiomux may be an answer. But it's expensive for an app that also hasn't seen an update in more than 2 years.

    Latency can can be set but expect if I you have a perfect network for me I always have crackle when lowering latency.
    An update was release last week I will try again to see if it works better

    No way to achieve that without considerable latency. Forget about it.
    MIDI works fairly acceptably, at least over Bluetooth, but not audio.

    What does work is audio over an RF or infrared link but I'm not sure if that's what you wanted?

    Thnx. How much does the kit required to do that cost? I don't really mind how I do it as long as it is easy and cheap and with low enough latency. Definitely not sure if it is possible.

    How about a cable? The iConnectAudio gear can route digital audio between Mac and iOS. It might be simpler than cobbling together a radio setup.

    You will need some receiver hardware attached to the iPad in any case.
    If you want it cheap then either use one of those low-cost FM radio transmitters and a USB FM radio on the iPad or use the electronics from an analog (not digital!) wireless IR or RF headphones connected to a tiny USB audio interface on the iDevice.

    I kind of may as well just use my audio interface if cables are involved。 It's nice though to have the flexibility of making music in various spots around my apartment, and without power supply, rather than having a fixed space where I have to plug stuff in and go through an interface. Probably not feasible though, unfortunately, by the sounds of things.

    Is it only for recording them?
    I don't understand how you would operate AUM when you're on a completely different spot.

    I would just use my iPad, laptop and a few smallish Bluetooth midi keyboards and controllers. The only point is that all those are portable but if I start using my audio interface, it is less portable and I am more likely to end up staying in a less preferred corner of my house where everything is already set up. The only reason I want to add my laptop in is so I can access a few desktop instruments that I can't get on iPad, like fxpansion synths and now substantia :p I'm not trying to be in several places at once. Just trying to minimise wires and need to plug in. But if wireless won't cut it latency-wise, I'll just have to settle for a wired and less mobile set up I guess. It's not that big a deal, but it's a nice dream to have latency free sound over WiFi between devices.
