AUM midi filtering question

I have a bass guitar midi controller with a switch built in that will change midi channels on the fly.
I want to set up AUM for live looping using Several instances of Atom and a few AU synths.
I set up each Atom/Synth channel to a midi number by filtering out every other number except the one for the channel. This way I can loop, move on to another sound, etc.
Problem is, AUM will not play any recorded midi back unless it is set to midi channel 1. I know it must be something simple I’m overlooking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

  • ATOM only seems to send out on channel 1. Maybe only use midi channel 1 for ATOM. So setup your bass channel to filter 1 and 2. 2 for your midi controller and 1 for ATOM. And do the same for the rest, filter only 1 and another number that you are sending to it for the next instrument/synth.

  • Thank you for your help. I ended up getting midi tools and it works great. The dev should remedy this issue.
