Nice video 👍
It’s amazing how Spacecraft can make found sounds so musical.
Amazing stuff.
Cup scrape was setting my teeth on edge at the start but soundong incredible at the end.
Very nice work, excellent video! As amazing as ios is i still struggle with inspiration to sit and use it, not sure why.
Thanks for your thoughts maybe it will help unravel mine. Keep up the stuff👍🏼
This is awesome. Great job.
Well done Mitch. Great enthusiasm and for good reason.
Really loved how you were there with us explaining what was happening there at the beginning. Really clear and effective method.
Cool vid.
This actually inspired me to do something musical this evening.
I followed your process using the old ‘wet finger on wineglass’ for a tone.
Obviously it sounds better having being emptied of some fine red merlot.
I bought a Launchpad pro because of you. Thanks!
I dont want to start a fight Hardware vs Software, but I love to think about everything and discussion philosophy about everthing.
I think like you; the iPad is a FANTASTIC piece of equipment to make music. And its relativly cheap for all the possibility. BUT, why some people prefer to pay 2000$ for the OT2 or a fortune for hardware synth? If I was a billionnaire, maybe I had a room full of hardware gear just for the fun of it, but when you have a normal income, why everybody just dont go all software, iPad + DAW on desktop?
A friend of mine just bought an Octotrack 2 and for him, this is far superior than an iPad to make music. Really? He cant explain me why, but hey, "it is what it is".
Random question; I want to buy 1 of these app, but I cant decide: FRMS or Borderlands?
Cheers!
You're on the right track Captain. We will need full before and after examplers etc.
@Montreal_Music I haven't gone deep with Borderlands but I have both of these. Borderlands is a unique touch interface. FRMS is mpe compatible. If you have an mpe controller, and an iPad Pro, get frms (it is vey cpu heavy). If you have neither of these, maybe go for Borderlands. They're very different and both very cool. My personal preference is probably frms. If it is still on intro price currently, it a really a bargain. Has some issues but the devs are working on them.
@Montreal_Music I don't own FRMS but I do have borderlands. like @Gavinski said. they are very different from what I can tell from the videos I have watched.
With borderlands, I cooked this up pretty quickly from just a loop I had created using Poison202. Sort of reimagined the loop with borderlands. Great fun and really takes advantage of the touch interface. Great for soundscapes and such.
@TheAudioDabbler Great vid! Totally agree, so much can be done on the phone these days, there’s so many kool synth, filter, distortion, reverb, etc apps combined with slow midiLFO automation, etc, & you can make some really epic stuff! 🎛🎧🎸
Keep up the great work! 👍🐬🚀
Fantastic work!
