String Synth on IOS
Hi, I'm wondering is here on IOS some simple string synth, like Verv from Puremagnetik.

Dreaming that someday they will port their VST to iOS.
Hillman Synth seems the closest solution.

Alina (Solina emu) is pretty good (and universal if that's important to you): https://apps.apple.com/us/app/alina-string-ensemble/id1036045790
There's also Mellowsound which is a direct Mellotron emulation: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mellowsound/id1313209081
Hillman is superb, and might even still be on sale. Does lush Solina type strings as well as a tonne of other stuff.
Find any synth with three oscillators and unison, have each oscillator set to sawtooth, have an LFO change the tuning of one of the oscillators upwards and the same or new LFO change the pitch of another oscillator downwards.
Adjust depth/amount/rate/unison to taste.

Indeed, all sounds in the video are easily replicated using a modern synth (I'd use Zeeon or Drambo but many others would work too).

Aww man I wanted to buy something...
Syntronik has String Box available which samples several classic string machines and you can add effects or use as source material for further synthesis.
I did string machine patches for Thor, Magellan, Sunrizer, Zeeon and Drambo. It isn’t difficult, one of my starting points with a new synth. Dive in and learn...
Ice Gears Laplace
TF8 has still the best strings on iOS.
Just picked up Hillman @TimRussell ... no save, correct?

Strng and Lagrange are my go-to synths for strings.
Lagrange example:
I know you said synth, but if you don't mind an app that uses samples and you are looking for something that sounds like real strings instead of synth-ish strings, iSymphonic is solid.
It's simple and limits your ability to tweak, which can be a good thing if you just want distraction-free amazing string sounds. If not for you, maybe someone else who stumbles upon this thread will find the info useful.
EDIT
Strng is brilliant. And remember that the SWAM packs including Viola, Violin and Cello if I remember will be available soonish in GeoShred.
No, initially will have: Violin, Cello, Tenor Sax, Flute, Clarinet, and Oboe
Synthmaster player has a couple of very descent string synth patches. It also has the necessary ensemble effect in the FX slot. Definitely worth a look.
...and you’ll get rid of him for the entire weekend.
I used EG Pulse’s trap kit for the drums. The bass is Shockwave. And thank you!
Shoom?
GarageBand. The right answer is always GarageBand.
GarageBand gets overlooked a lot but their acoustic emulations and smart drummers are fantastic. I still use GB often just because of those.
Yeah, this is definitely great synth in right direction.
