iMyFone TunesMate - anyone used this?

I am happy enough with the default music player on my iPhone (5SE). I just want to copy music songs and albums onto my phone but for some reason Apple seems not to want me to do this. I have seen iMyFone TunesMate for Windows that claims to do just what I want.

Has anyone tried this? Or know of any alternatives?

    Anytune app does everything the default music does and a lot more. There should still be a free version too

    I have that app already but all I can seem to do is import individual songs and then I have to play them from with Anytunes. I would be satisfied with a good music player app that understands albums and/or folders and can import from the Files app.

    If you tag your music files in anytune using the i button, you can then search for them by artist or album using the search box. The default player will not copy in music because of copyright restrictions
    There may be other apps other people will post

    Currently looking at Evermusic Pro, which is a proper music player that can import from the Files app. It has all sorts of streaming nonsense too but hopefully it has the basics. My iPhone is currently updating to iOS13 (from 11) so I can plug in a USB drive. Either way I'll only be £4.99 poorer.
