So you spend all that effort making an AU sample playback device, perfect simple interface, and just make it a slicer, have any of these developers ever used 'Simpler' LOL

So you opened up this thread to comment about an app that isn't released and that you have no idea what it does or doesn't do and throw shade on the dev and other devs only to end with a sarcastic LOL? Smooth move bud.

    +1*10

  • @ElliottGarage what iOS is desperate for is a Simpler style plugin, so you are only a couple of steps from having that.

1 One shot and old school pitched modes.
2 Simple AR envelope, Loop points for sustain.
3 Loop points exposed as AU parameters.
4 A browser that uses files.app with preview.

Add those to your plugin and make it reliable and low resource, and it will become an iOS standard.

This is AudioLayer; well, 1, 2, and 4.

No it isn't, Audiolayer is over complicated, I'm starting to think I actually dreamed Simpler haha.

    haha

    yep

but maybe the dev could make another app same design but more focused in going that direction, however if he could keep the vision of the way this is turning out and these other great suggestions people are dropping in this thread while also adding what the tablist is talking about it would be sweet....

btw hope this thing works stand alone

I would love some P. locks and probability/ conditionals as well on this !!!

Audiolayer is not over complicated, it's not trying to be Simpler at all. It's a simpler version of Kontakt instead. :)

I think that was his point though, it would be great even to have a 'simpler' in this as an iap so those that aren't interested in that aspect could go to the party without it.
