Comments

  • Thanks Doug. The midi is being worked on now, which will make this very useful.

This will be great when MIDI is implemented. After watching the video, I remembered making a negative comment about this app in another thread. Well, I am indeed an idiot because I got this confused with another app with Maestro in the title. This is obviously much different and I will give it a tryout now.

So, thanks for the video Doug and apologies to the developer. Other thread updated too.

  • Hey Fingertip Maestro has just updated today. Added 7 new sounds: Church Organ, Lead Guitar, Hancock Synth, Sitar, Harp, Bounce Synth, and Parked Synth. And some new buttons for Facebook sharing, Scrolling across different Chordlines, and Record/Settings. You can get the new sounds together as a bundle for $2.99. (I bought it because I liked most of the original Soundpack #1, but I'm not totally jazzed by the new sound packs, I think they sound cheesy. But you may hear it differently.)

I would have rather they had updated with midi.

  • The chord arrangements are really nice and, as Doug says, it's difficult to go wrong whilst noodling about.

The one problem I have with this (I have tried only the piano, guitar and strings, didn't buy any of the others) is that the samples end too abruptly, especially on bass chords. The sustain gets cut off at the end.

  • I bought the bundle #1 yesterday and have to agree that the envelope needs adjusting. It's especially noticeable on the strings, where the release teminates too early. It's almost as if the sample is too long for the slot.

  • Hi everyone,

We really appreciate all the comments and wanted to update you guys on the progress. We added some instruments and are making tweaks to improve them constantly.

The big update we are testing is MIDI (virtual midi with wifi) working on CORE MIDi also. VIRTUAL MIDI is working great and we are excited to start testing it with you all to get your feedback.

if you are interested please email us and we will add you all to our beta.

Hope you can join us and make it the best midi possible.
