K-Board Pro 4 or Seaboard 25?

I just sold my Linnstrument and want an MPE controller with keys. So . . . please give me a little advice. I believe these are roughly the same price. Obviously more keys with the K board, but Equator software with the Roli. Thanks.

  • 49 keys vs. 25 is a big difference for me. Roli has the ability to slide from one note to another (within the 25-key range) which isn't available on the KMI (although there is a slide "strip" that can be configured).

  • I own the Kboard Pro 4 (and several other MPE controllers) and it’s a great keyboard, very responsive, well built, and bus powered with the iPad which is awesome. The vertical slide on the keys works well. However, I REALLY miss that horizontal slide across keys…and the position of the slider ribbons at the top is also not my favorite. My Seaboard 2 (49) is still on order…

Just recently picked up a Joue Play Pro and an Erae Touch which are both very cool options with different strengths if you haven’t checked them out yet.
