Recording Pure Acid MIDI in CB3
Is it possible to record Pure Acid MIDI in Cubasis 3? Not seeing a way to but I’d think there has to be a way. I know I could do audio through AUM but hoping to avoid that.

Yes, its possible record midi from Pure Acid into Cubasis 2 and 3 but not from the sequencers you have to use the built in Cubasis keyboard to trigger the notes. You will also need to clear the patterns in the Pure Acid sequencers before you start recording midi.
Gross. That’s tragic.
Appreciate it.
You could also export the bassline midi file from Pure Acid into Cubasis 3. If you have an iPad Pro maybe Pure Acid could play the file without sputtering, choking, and heating up like it does when you try this method on an iPad Air 2.
I tried this on Zenbeats. Pure Acid does not show up as a MIDI effect so you can’t record its MIDI. I can record @brambos Bassline MIDI because it does show up as a MIDI effect. For PA I had to export MIDI via the standalone and import it. FWIW
Update it may actually work after quitting Cubasis and reopening I was able to get Pure Acid to playback the midi file with no problem on my Air 2 so maybe there's hope for you after all. But remember you will still need to clear the patterns in Pure Acid when it first open to avoid a midi mess.
I keep forgetting I can export midi from PA. Thank you, I’ll give this a shot.
