Two free Juno-106 bass patches for AudioLayer

Here are two AL patches of a basic bass edit I made on my Juno-106. It’s actually the same sound with and without chorus I on. They’ve each got three layers and random round robin on. I was thinking of going for at least five layers since these samples are just short stabs, but I felt satisfied with the sound of just the three. This also makes these very small instruments. In a mix the few layers doesn’t matter much since the variations of digitally controlled pitch of the oscillators makes the waveform very stable in the original 106, and hence: unpredictability is less noticeable in my experience (in contrast to an old vco based synth). If you prefer regular rr over random you just change that under the far left layers menu for each layer in AudioLayer.

If people like them I will post some more. These are edited before sampled, and edited in AL afterwards makes for more variation perhaps. I’ll see if I can post some of those too.

Here’s an example where you can hear both sounds. Without chorus in the build up, and with it in the rest of the clip.
Could wait - just threw them in.... and that is the „pluck/bass“ i personally attach to a Juno - Nice

Yeah. I could make one with the lfo modulating the pwm too with regular round robin. That would give more variation and richness to the sound. Not least when played with arp on. I’ll see if I get the time for it.
