About time, this a serious drum machine that we will all love
Ya baby, now that is what I am talking about. My major dream is for more excellent drum apps . I bought this long ago to support and hopefully encourage the developer . The drums are excellent and are going to be Great! With audiobus !!!
I wonder what else might be in this update? I don't think they have a facebook but I am going to look for more from this developer once again.
He also has this.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/supermetronome-groovebox-pro/id590278208?mt=8
There are also free versions of both apps to try
I have been playing this as background for Nave all damned night! This is going to kick ass in the ios drum world now! Inspirational beats and with nearly endless variations. I can only imagine running this through a couple of effects apps that come to mind such as Turnado and Master FX,,,,
I did a demo for this a while ago, so here it is again so we can see how great this thing is

It always sounded great but with no way to use the beats, either by ACP or AB, it was a novelty. Adding AB will make this a serious tool.
No song mode?
I had no clue about this app, thanks for the video it sounds great. I'm of to purchase it! Lol damn soundtestroom vids.
Edit: Bought, awesome, I likey!![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
As far as the guitar goes Doug, although it was unrehearsed there were some really funky beats you had going from time to time and I quite enjoyed the listen. That is what I like about videos like this that are on the fly. It feels like it is the watcher using the app after purchasing all most. You make a great spokesman many times.
Thanks, thats the general idea, you get to see the app in action
Looks great. Can't wait until it gets Audiobus. I just bought it, which of course means it'll go on sale next week.
Cool, this will be useful for sketching ideas. That's the one thing I wish garageband had was an easier way to sketch drum ideas. I usually just drag one of the drum loops they have for my quick sketches.
And as promised, I wasn't getting an app unless it did something thor can't ;-)
Still, I'm anxiously awaiting Derek's drum app as it sounds like it will be more in the vein of ez drummer, which I know a lot of people want on ios.
A feature maybe not so obvious. Long pressing a beat until it frames in red, you can drag it up or down to change subdivision.
Can this do time signatures other than 4/4?
Yes. Tap New Groove.
I just got this and its awesome....just what I needed....thanks
How did I read every thread possible about acoustic sounding drum apps/loopers and not see this? Did it work at least with AudioCopy/Paste into DAW's? (If not, I could see the limitations).
Will definitely check it out if it allows you to use them for recording! Only $3.99, universal, and no in-app purchases? Best of all, it's like a 19MB file! How is that even possible?
This seems to combine the features of my favorite beat looper (Drum Beats +) with my current favorite drum editor/pattern creator (DrumStudio). I'm not an actual drummer, so while I enjoy trying to create some beats, I really need a lot of preset patterns to help me along too. Thanks!
Any update on AB implementation and release date?
I'd be curious to know also. Morris made the original post with the screen cap advertising that AB support was coming soon. I ran out and bought the app after seeing this thread, and in terms of the content, it did not disappoint. The kits sound great, there's tons of them, and I love the subtle variations to the playing style.
But as of yet, it remains more of a "toy" than a music production item, albeit possibly the best "drum app" yet to get AB compatibility. You could throw Stochastik and BeatBox from Caustic into that discussion as well, but the difference is that those two DO allow you to export with AudioCopy (the former) or export to AudioShare (the latter). To answer my own question from March 21st above, no, there is no way to get sounds from RDM into a DAW that I have found as of yet. (PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong). Once it gets that capability, it's instantly a major player.
Still waiting also. I'm using my iRig HD to get sounds out for now, and yes it's stereo.
Yeah dude I'm waiting to.. At least give me audiocopy
I'm also waiting. But mgmg's original post was made on March 20th, which isn't that long ago. Always feels longer when you're waiting for something.![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)

This. AudioBus on iOS has existed for just over a year or so, but AudioCopy/Paste has been prevalent in apps for what, 3-5 years?
Not to rip AudioBus in the least, which is great for many things and absolutely vital for others, but I probably end up using AudioCopy/export more than either AB or IAA for drum parts because it's so critical to get a defined start/stop point to make your loop. Set the BPM, pick your measure length and you have a perfect "snap"-in for your DAW. I've defended apps like Stochastik that lack AB support but nonetheless feature usable export features with copy/paste.
@ChrisG - You are right, of course. I was not expecting it by now, and there is no reason to be impatient. I just wanted the person to revive the thread (and the dev, if he happened to check in!) to know that they're not the only ones that like the app and are looking forward to being able to use it for actual recording.
It is going to be one hell of a useful and welcomed tool in the ios world of Music, I hope the developer plans on expanding his work even further in the future.
Audiocopy and paste is also how I prefer to move my drum loops around.. Clock sync until recently has been a disaster.. Still sucks..

I've heard that as well. I know how to use AB/IAA and basic virtual MIDI, but I have no idea how to use MIDI Clock to, say, start a drum app at the same time you start a recording app. I go with my general approach of "lay it down and fix it in post". Haha.
Yikes. Double post (and still going...)
