So.. is Maze Rider any good? Seems like a good idea to have.
Thank you for this, I didn’t catch this one anywhere.
It’s great 👍
Set detection zone to -12 and +12.
Set gain to -6 or wherever you like.
Now feed it various levels and watch it magically keep them at your set gain level.
Also, light on cpu and FREE.
It has been mentioned a few times before, but I thought it would useful to post it here for anybody who is following this thread.
wow 🤣
Nice indeed! And this works live, not just on recordings?
Live AuV3.
Wow, fantastic, thanks
Well that's my evening taken care of. Thanks everyone! Some great apps in there.
I like what this does. Simple yet effective. Give it a try!
It actually is quite an interesting idea.
That would be a serious investment
into Audiokit development as a whole.
Maybe if they don’t drop the price, some rich kids will actually buy it so that they can also have a lit 🔥 808 on their diamond encrusted iPad mini 16GB like the rest of their friends.
Yeah, I know.
I was merely thinking about inventive ways
to get finance through to developers.
I view the whole ,'$999.99 exclusivity', thing as a marketing
ploy rather than actually taking it seriously as a price.
Harrods used to sell gold plated drum kits.
I used to be a pro drummer.
I couldn't see the point myself.
I suspect it’s priced so high because the only way to stop people from buying the app (I.e. making it a limited-time exclusive app) would be to pull it off the store altogether, but then existing owners wouldn’t be able to re-download it.
Keeping it on the store but exorbitantly priced ensures owners can redownload it while keeping it out of reach for new shoppers.
I’m not too familiar with App Store rules though, so IDK
rules though, so IDK
I believe you are on to something.
I was an early adopter of Bass 808, but have no problem with AudioKit making it available at a sane price again.
I always assumed their “exclusivity” approach was a tongue-in-cheek commentary on gear acquisition, and found it hilarious.
I thought so to especially when the price started to yo yo up and down.
At one point it was $499.99 dollars then it
bounced up again before it plummeted to $3.99???
I like their sense of humour.
They don't take themselves too seriously.
For musicians not blessed with enough skill, the golden kit would satisfy GAS for sure 😁
There are always people with enough money to think about getting what nobody else has, just for the sake of owning it.
Oh most definitely. 😁
Very true.
Ravenscroft has just gone on sale for anyone interested!
Interesting
Looks like Beathawk IAPs are also on sale atm!
Edit: Beathawk is $4.99 down from $9.99 also.
Maze Rider is free again:

Looks like the price is going up&down everyday.
The dev has an auto tune utility for free too , but the cpu goes up to the sky
Maze Rider is good
They did
discussed for about a page?
AGREE
One thread for iOS sales and one for desktop plugins in OT
IMO
YES!
This is the only actual iOS AuV3 thread.
The others are iPadOS/off topic/etc.
