AudioTune Pitch Correct: How are you using it???
It's been out for a bit now, but there hasn't been much chat about it.
Do you use it to correct imperfect pitch (of course not — we all have perfect pitch here!)
Do you use it as an effect?
Do you not want to talk about it because doing so might suggest you're imperfect as a person?

I was wondering the same thing. I tried to use it as a effect with little success so far.
I only got it with the hope I could use it for subtle vocal pitch correction. Haven't had the chance to try it yet though.
I am no expert with it / just experimenting
During this session, I believe I have 3 of the same vocal takes (file player x3) and one of them is Audiotune. Basically, I’m using it in conjunction with other fx to add layers.
When I’m editing what is playing, I put the note on custom and play the keys during
I’ve audiotuned a few vocal samples to fit key of a track.
Would love to hear anything with AudioTune on it. Post it!
I would love to use it to tune my guitar. Someone said its possible but my results are bad. So basically I just supported the dev
I'm guessing it attempts to identify the formants and preserve their relative frequencies. It's not a thing I know much about. I'm fairly sure the formants can't change or each note would sound like it was sung by a different size person. Why a straight pitch shift algorithm wouldn't work. It's not really something I need for it's intended purpose (the world and especially the missus don't need me taking up singing..) but I was wondering what weirdness it could do with speech samples, anyone try this? Might pick it up just to support the AudioKit project.
Good note. I suspect that all of us out here in the field are wandering around with no real idea of what to do with it or picture in our heads of how we could make it really work. I can only suppose that those on top of it are locked away in their bedrooms making hit records dammit. We need inspiration
problem is i sing too perfect had to smoke 900 cigs in 1 hour to get it to work
Lol.
Building heavily layered vocal loops that are run through a bunch of effects that eventually just become textures. I do seem to have trouble having it respond to anything other than my voice though otherwise flood gates would open
Well, it seems I forgot to post the video
And some Audiotune in this session
Probably not what you’re expecting the app to be used for @ @danielfromcodalabs
