Anyway to record mono tracks in AUM?
I set the inputs to a mono source, but it still records a stereo file with mono signal duplicated on each channel. So unless I want all the files taking up twice the necessary space I have to individually convert them all to mono in AudioShare. I tried searching, but didn’t see anything about this. Thanks!

I don’t think it is possible to do that in AUM but it would be for sure a nice feature... Maybe @j_liljedahl can clarify something here
iAUM - look under > insert & effects > stereo processing > stereo to mono.
Doesn’t work. This will record a stereo file that will sound like a mono song (double size)
@Matthew A possible solution.. 4Pockets Multitrack Recorder will record mono tracks when used in AUM.. Need to manually switch it to mono as I believe stereo is now the default..
If you use AudioShare, you can convert those stereo files to true mono.
Audior can be used for batch conversion if that’s any help.
Auditor will record a mono file for that matter
Thanks everyone! AUM is otherwise super easy and convenient for my purpose, just eats up space with the redundant stereo files. Auditor looks nice.
Auditor is nice
Am I crazy here? I just checked and everything I’ve ever recorded in AUM is mono. Using AUv3/ IAA, internal mic and also the Shure MVi...not doubled up either
Just kidding after closer inspection, all say 2CH Wave...what a noob
