AB3 preset saving xequence2 stops working after a while
Hi,
Very happy with xequence2 driving AB3 (latest ios on latest ipad mini), but invariably preset saving stops working after a while.
Unfortunately, I don't have a specific sequence of events to reproduce, it just stops registering the changes in xequence2, even though the xequence2 logo is shown in AB3 when preset saving.
Luckily, this only happens after a while, say 30 minutes to an hour, but I've lost quite some work due to the issue. I also tried to regularly save and load my AB3 preset, but still the problem pops up. Only way to solve is to quit xequence2, restart and reload the preset.
Is this a known issue? Any workaround, like saving directly inside xequence2 (tried it, but saving did not register in the preset)?
Note that it is not specific to a given preset, I've had the issue with several.

Yeah I’ve had problems with the state saving of Xequence in AB3
Never could firgure it out. Sometimes it works for the initial first save, then not after.
I now just save my Xequence project separately with the same name as the AB3 project to make sure.
Always save the project in X2 as a backup for the AB3 session save. It simply isn't 100% reliable. The developer has done everything he can to try to make it so, but it just doesn't seem possible to get it 100%. Generally I'll name the X2 project the same as the AB3 session. It's only two more taps to have that backup for reassurance.
I’ve heard this is extremely common. Though I don’t use this workflow, I was told it’s best to save all of your presets and projects in the individual apps themselves as a redundant measure.
Thanks all, will make a backup save from now on
Not extremely common. Somewhat rare. But still ...
