Overloud THU demo: ‘O sole mio

I thinks THU is a brilliant app. Love the feel and the sound. Glad to have it on iOS.

I agree. I got the TH-U Full trial for my iMac to try it out before making a decision on the IOS version. Love it! I have the basic IOS version but I’m going to wait for the promised AU upgrade before I jump on the full version. One minor complaint which won’t stop me from getting it is that I like being able to turn knobs on the actual Amps/Effects etc. that they have on the Mac version, rather that the slide controls that are on the IOS app. Just seems more professional.
All in all, I think it’s my favorite sounding Amp Sim, and I pretty much have them all.

    Nice job on the video!

  • Where is the flipping link aghhhh. just kidding. happy day.

Regarding being able to turn knobs, I’m ideally with you, but I found that on the desktop version they don’t work so well, and often you move the all gear instead of turning the knobs. This solution is less nice to operate with but more reliable IMHO. Cheers

They talked about that in another thread. It’s in the pipeline.

They also mention it on their website.

  • Oh my, me likey.

  • Let me add that the wait for the AU version won't be too long anymore!

I was very fortunate to be invited to be a beta tester for TH-U. I am currently testing version 1.1.0 and this one already includes AU! And it is working like a charm. No problem to have 5 audio tracks in Cubasis 2 with TH-U all with different presets. I could also add DigiStix for drums and a MIDI track for bass. All on my 6th gen. iPad 9.7 which only has 2 GB of RAM and an A10 processor. I wonder how many instances of TH-U would be possible with an iPad Pro with more RAM and better processor ...

For me the AU version of TH-U is a total game changer! This is the way how a professional workflow should be. No more bad compromises with recording one track via Inter App Audio, freeze it and than get the next one done and so on. Or setting up complicated signal chains with a bunch of different AU apps. Finally, a desktop like experience on our iPads with the best sounding guitar amp & FX suite you can have :D
