I own a few, but was wondering which of these are must owns?

Is there a significant difference between VoxSyn and IVoxel? How are they unique? Is Matrix Vocoder vastly superior or unique?

I remember Poseidon being a very popular Wave synth when it first launched, but I read here later that some members rarely openened it and eventually just use Nave. Have any VirSyn upgrades changed that opinion?

  • Does Addicitve Pro ever go on sale?

  • i have voxsyn pro (but i dont have ivoxel or their vocoder). voxsyn is cool though. never used it on vocals cuz i cant sing but its interesting to use it on another synth and see what kinda sounds it makes.

i havent found a good practical use for it though. but maybe its stronger as an actual vocal synth.

on another note, i’m kind of interested in their audioeffx app. does anyone have it and use it often? whats it like?

  • @qryss yes. Typically Black Friday is the best deal:

  • I really like the regular Addictive Synth, but no one was able to convince me why the Pro version was significantly superior.

  • And there it is: Addictive Pro is now on sale. Half price!

  • The need to Au their synths before anyone should buy them now

Most of them are already AU though?

I'm thinking about this too. I bought Addictive few months ago since it was only 2.99$ and it's pretty damn good. So good I wonder if I should get Addictive pro... but not sure if it's significantly better or just differrent/more comprehensive

Some are, some aren't. It's in the AppStore description.

  • How good is the vocoder? I have most their other stuff but I’m a sucker for vocoders

Congrats, @qryss! The app gods have heeded you plea! 🤗

  • I would love to get addictive microsynth but it hasn’t been updated for 4yearw now. Are any updates coming for it

  • Addictive pro’s essential

it‘s auv3 and has an insane fugue machine like arp as well as a full fx section ...

And the arp shows as a midi sender so it’s possible to sequence your external apps and hardware.

  • Is it better in any way than the other arp apps floating around?

What about ReSlice? Does its arp have midi out?

  • I just bought Barkfilter on sale and loving it.

  • @despego As far as I can tell the arp in Addictive Pro doesn’t natively support midi out so I’m assuming it’s the same with ReSlice. But it does show as a midi sender in AB3.

    @onkey

I think its USP is the ability to set the clock and pitch independently for each of the 4 tracks so it’s possible to come with some interesting polyrhythms. But pretty sure you can achieve the same thing using multiple instances of any (AU) arp app.

    Thanks @onkey
I’m going to pass on this one
