It’s always warm in Cali-fornia.
Cabinet choice makes a big difference in these amps.
I think the warmest is probably the Cali Reverb. But you could also try the free Crunk as well to see if you like the sound.
Cheers @wim @richardyot Cali was my assumption, good to have double confirmation, I do quite like crunk already, will listen to a good few samples of the amps and see what this new one is all about as well 👍
Ta!
Sound-Master in clean mode with the fat switch on might work for you @Krupa.
I think every other Nembrini amp was great, this one is new. It was promoted as away to get Fendery cleans, from my reading of the website. But every patch seems to be clipping , like there is way too much gain? And treble...lots of treble....It is far more Brittle than the Cali reverb cleans or the bst 100
I can get good cleans out of it. But yeh, the treble kills me. Some of the cabinet models help though. But even still, I have to throw the Nembrini Cleaner with the harsh-kill cranked up, or I have to dial the treble way back on every patch.
I don't like any of the presets. They seem like maybe they were done with something more like a Les Paul than my Strat. But it's only to be expected that presets are going to need tweaking. It doesn't take much to find good tones IMO.
Still - love it totally. Very dynamic ... so much so, that I realize how sloppy my technique has become with dull and lifeless amp sims. 🙄
And i also does some ambient guitar as well. In case you want to give it a spin, let it play in background while you work - not to much action. This is more like a self-therapy for me which I share, haha. So feel free to enjoy
Featuring a preset I made for the new Mela sound design festival and K-Devices new TTAP, Blackhole, @Blue_Mangoo‘s cloudy Atmosphere plugin
One more note: ENSO isn’t doing anything. Haven’t removed it though
Damn I’m loving the tone. Just did a little jam with this and Eventide spring reverb can’t wait to really get into more when it’s not so late
I haven’t yet given this a spin yet so can’t really comment but am a Fender amp user of 20yrs+ (although have also owned Voxes, Laneys, Ampegs and Rolands, as well as playing through Boogies and Marshalls a fair bit) and can tell you that if you are used to other amps pretty much any Fender sounds bright until you learn how to dial it in or just get used to it. I’m hoping this thing just follows that trend...
Thank you @NembriniAudio for bringing this amp to iOS. It is just brilliant and the sale on everything is really cool...if you haven’t tried Nembrini’s stuff, now’s the time.
I take advantage of this comment because I want to be the one to thank you for trying, buying and using our apps.
Today a musician really has a lot of choices, many of which are of excellent quality, so the fact that you consider our worthy of being bought, makes us proud and makes us happy.
So once again, thank you all, folks.
Our commitment is to bring the best possible apps to mobile, and since we realize that some prices are not very low, (and the speech is especially true for the desktop) we are happy to be able to offer some discounts every now and then, also considering the fact that Apple (mysteriously) does not allow the possibility to resell the purchased apps.
So, thanks again and everyone here at Nembrini hope that you will spend many hours having fun playing with our apps.
Regards,
Andrea

I can’t get this to show up as an AU in Cubasis. It showing up as IAA, just not AU.
Have restarted CB3 and launched it is standalone but no help.
Also not showing up as AU in AUM
Nor is ‘The Boss’ pedal. Only IAA in both.
Any ideas?
Its OK.
Did a hard reset of my iPad and they’re there now
Boss is showing up for me in AUM (I don’t own the amp). Have you tried swiping down when selected AU FX and typing it in the search bar?
Haha I knew this was coming after another comment. Thanks for all you guys are doing - truly bringing us joy!
I think everyone is right about the need to tweak this to get a less harsh, trebly tone. I also bought the Mrh810 during the sale and prefer that with my guitar much better. I've always wanted an amp that could become sparkly like a Fender while using my Ibanez RG570, which seems purpose built for overdriven tones. So maybe it is just a mismatch with my hot double coils or just is going to take a lot of tweaking to get it just right.
I am happy with the sale, no buyers remorse at all. I'll do a back to back with ToneStack on the cleans to see how it does.
I couldn’t resist. 😂 I just purchased EVERYTHING!!! 🤣
For those of you who are having trouble adjusting to the bright Fender tone, I suggest tweaking it with Nembrini's very capable guitar equalizer — or one you already own.
World-class studio guitarist Tim Pierce make an excellent video with Phil Mckight on the myriad ways you can use your EQ — including making single-coil pick-ups sound like humbuckaers and humbuckers sound like single coils!
Also I just love watching Tim play! He's so fluid and looks like he
... is absolutely having the time of his life!
How is this for processing percussion or other sounds for sound design use in techno?
@And_Nembrini
È una bomba!!! Viva Nembrini! Viva Verdi!
“The Fender Tone-Master is a 100 W custom shop designed by Bruce Zinky in the mid 90's.
It does not follow the construction scheme of the classic Fender amps and does not have their characteristic sound, at least in part.
It has a lot of headroom, especially in the clean channel, and can provide almost any type of sound from the cleanest and crispest tones to the heaviest ones. It is very bright, open sound and has almost no compression.
To my ears the right combination is a neck pickup and a cabinet with a pair of V30s loaded.
Personally, I also use the tone of my guitar a lot, to appreciate any nuance of its brilliant sparkling tones. It is very sensitive to the touch and, like most guitars of the same brand, it is not that easy to dominate. He doesn't forgive much, it's a good way to improve our skills.”
Guess who said that?
Posted this in the wrong thread...
Had a quick play. I don’t like most of the presets, especially the more overdriven ones, but I can certainly get those classic Fender cleans/semi-cleans that I was hoping for, so very pleased. Great latency (or lack thereof) and dynamic response too.
@And_Nembrini any chance of a couple of more Fender style cab options?
As far as I can identify we only have the 2xD120 and 4xP10Q available, the rest being variations on Celestions.
Would love a 1x12 and/or 2x10 option, and some more ceramic Jensen/Oxford and alnico CTS type voicings.
The answer is blowin’ in the w...rong thread!
I dunno who said it, but it perfectly describes the Sound Master!
The dynamics are so much wider than any other amp sim I've played. Those who like play with a lot of expression are going to love this. Sloppy players like me are going to get an opportunity to work on their technique ... or cheat with a little compression.
The super bright sound takes some adjustment and getting used to, but it's great to have the top end available when needed to really cut through a mix. I'd rather dial it back when I don't need it than have to artificially push it when I do.
Your Analog Rack Cleaner is a quick and easy way to cut back on the highs.
Thanks so much for this super-nice amp. I played for 2-1/2 hours straight last night after barely picking up my guitar for months.
Perhaps this is the answer!
I know these amazing amp sims are designed to receive audio from an actual electric guitar, is there a way to maximize the effect when not using an actual electric guitar but say Geoshred or sample player like Audiolayer?
I'd say the most warmth comes from the Cali Reverb (Mesa Boogie Rectified) with a very close 2nd for the MRH810 (Marshall). But people that have more experience with real amps should weigh in about the way they react to pick dynamics, etc. I just find the
Cali Reverb to be very transparent in the clean mode and supplying a nice tube warmth
the can be further enhanced with one (or both) Magic Death Eye studio hardware compressors. Several of the Tape Saturation FX'es are also good to add more tube warmth
as lower entry points.
