Retronyms have gone quiet & I mean you could hear a pin drop.
@Retronyms are you active

Not a grand supporter (because Audiocopy), but they're still putting IAPs out, had note of one last week....
@JohnnyGoodyear ok cool. IMPC Pro2 has had no updates in a while
That advertised updated version of Audiocopy never did come out, did it?
@gusgranite nope. I really think they maybe going out of business. Where you at @Retronyms
Sadly.

I was poking around with iMPC Pro a few months ago and saw that there were notifications for new sample packs, etc from Retronyms. I'm sorry but I just don't get it. Their ecosystem is painful, and AudioCopy has always been a pain in the ass. It makes me wonder who is buying those packs?
The irony abounds....
IT'S A TRAP
@JohnnyGoodyear the words "Your inbox will never be the same" still makes me laugh...
I guess there's more money in sample packs... (contentious subject, I know!)
You tend to only hear from them when there’s a new product to promote. Then it’s all hipster videos and people making beats on trains, in an imaginary world where even the businessman sitting right next to them doesn’t get irritated by the constant ‘tsk tsk tsk’ leaking from their earbuds.
Maybe when the trains and cafes are running properly again, and we’re allowed to sit on park benches to make hip hop albums outdoors.
Time will tell what happens...
I was actually looking forward to AudioCopy 4 with support for additional file formats, sample rates and Files.app support...
...that would have made the app more usable.
The audio-editor is not so bad so a 'bastard' between AudioShare and AudioCopy could have many many users happy
Haha. Brilliantly observed!
