@LinearLineman quick question... does NSK2 take up 2.5 GB total, or is it the 900mb app size plus the 2.5gb ?
It takes up about 9 gigs with everything downloaded
I bought it, I get more instant satisfaction from it than NSK, not sure why. It just sounds right to me and has cool creative options. And the newe style interface helps a lot.
@Poppadocrock, you can load on an ssd. Also, you can select which categories of downloads you want thereby limiting the footprint. For example...

How to you pull up the tremolo depth/speed grid in the AU version?
On the ‘Keyboard’ tab on the the top rh side
Been doing back to back with NSK2 all day. I found if I changed the velocity curve of EV, it softened it up nicely and to my ears, is on par with the mk 1 in NSK2.
As to what hogs more ram and resources - I have no clue!
Edit - I prefer the tone of NSK2, EV good, but doesn't seem any less on CPU or size, and I keep coming back to the NSK2 mk1 to play - so that's my input. As someone else said the tone is some what Wurly like.
Thank you
As a guitarist/songwriter first I'm not an expert on pianos, synths, keys, etc but I've always loved the Rhodes EP sound as a kid, back before I even knew what it was called.
I've had Neo Soul Keys and it's upgrade Studio for a longtime and at $13 on sale it's a must buy. I bought Electric Vintage and it's phenomenal as well.
The best way I can put it is that NSK is like DrumPerfect Pro, a serious professional piece of software with tons of control & options; Electric Vintage is more like an EG Pulse, MPC-like program. Both have good editing & options but NSK just takes it to the finest detail.
I also bought EV (and the new Accordion app) to support the dev apeSoft. Every app they've made has been incredible & I'd like to see more apps from them.
