I love Tonebridge for my guitar - is there something similar for my MIDI keyboard?
I love the simplicity of Tonebridge: just toggle through different presets and enjoy the results while playing guitar! So nice to give my played songs this "special touch". It's no-brainer!
And since it works as AUv3, I can use it with AUM and send the stuff to Group the Loop (for live looping purposes, obviously).
I also have a small MIDI keyboard, and while looping, I'd love to play some notes with it. For example: adding a few chords to a running live loop which sound like a Hammond organ, or a Honkytonk, or even some spherical sounds would be great.
So: is there an app similar to Tonebridge which listens to MIDI notes and offers a nice range of presets? Which can be loaded as AUv3? Simplicity is key, and low disk and CPU load would be very welcome (I'm using an iPhone 5S with 16GB ). I love GarageBand for the instruments it offers, but it just seems to not be able to be integrated into my AUM workflow, as it's a standalone app (no AUv3), and it's pretty high on CPU load.
Thank you!

So, you're looking for a lightweight synth with lots of presets and good AU integration. So many choices, so little... The lightweight requirement lets out most of the WAV players (D1, Synth One, etc.), which need a lot of storage. My first choice would be Zeeon, an excellent AU "analog" synth with lots of presets. Magellan 2 also fits the bill. KQ Dixie is very lightweight, but you need to hunt the web for the DX7 presets; thousands are available, but it takes a little work. Spectrum is another lightweight possibility, but you need to create your own presets.
This might work for you.
AUv3 universal, supports iOS 11, small-ish (about 250 mb), lots of sounds (instruments and synths).
Plus it is a easy to use Sampler, so you can add some of your own specific sounds if you need them.
