  • Omg I want it! The h6 is dope...so this can only be an upgrade for me... it’s so Utility in every aspect of audio recording. I’ve used it as a mic, an interface for iOS, an interface for Mac, field recorder, a multitrack, a mixer...it’s totally in my recommendations. Found sound is fun.

  • Nice overview below. $399

  • That name though. Zoom Hate?

  • damn ! what an ugly beast

  • yeah definitely on my list. Have a U-44 and a few capsules and it's really versatile, so this will be a good upgrade.

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • shame about no midi, maybe they'll release a capsule for it

  • Wish that more of the ports were TRS instead of XLR, so I wouldn't need to buy different cables. Otherwise, looks great.

  • I'm tempted by the H6 (not the all-black H6) being on sale for $100 off.

  • Looks like a tarantula with all the inserts plugged in

My TRS cables fit fine in my H6 XLR ports. That’s the beauty of XLR right? Fits both Mic and Instrument cables like the FocusRite Audio Interfaces.

H6 and Focusrite have combo XLR/TRS combo jacks so they work with line ins or mics, but 4 out of 6 inputs on H8 are XLR only. So, TRS to XLR cables will be needed here.
