mixing in iOS
Really, who's mixing in iOS and which DAW are you using ?
I LOVE AUM, really ..... but it's difficult to get a more "arranged" song from there. Still using it a lot for jamming and i love it, i's amazing. But when i play with some instruments it's already in 70+% DSP so .... putting a DAW there will be much more % i guess.
Already try with Garageband, Multitrack DAW and 4Pockets Multitrack. Can't get the flow there ...
Now i'm thinking to try Ableton Live in PC JUST TO ARRANGE my tracks in some place. IDK why using a mouse can be easier to do, not looking something fancy but easy workflow really.
Any tips/recommendation for it ?
Thanks ppl

For mixing and mastering on ios, Auria Pro is the king. But Cubasis 3 as added some nice new toys for mastering.
I mixed my first album and lots of other songs as well in auria, but I’m using my mac for mixing now. Auria does work well for mixing though. On mac I’m using an x-touch and softube console 1 with a uad apollo x8, so that workflow is much easier for me right now.
Still using iOS as main for instruments or record tracks ?
No, but I never really did. I mainly work doing live recordings or tracking bands. I do use gadget or stuff like that to make bad EDM for my own enjoyment, but that’s not anything I do seriously. I don’t mean EDM is bad, I mean my version of it is. But I do use iOS for synths and such to augment tracks on occasion. I also used to use my iPad live for synth bass too, but have since been using an electro harmonix bass micro synth pedal. Someday I’m going to get my behringer model d on a gig played by geoshred, but I have been trying to lighten the load for gigs. Now I’d be happy to have any gig playing anything!
