That amount of work couldn't be justified in a free update as we have been providing to LK so far.
That’s perfectly reasonable. I’d naturally expect to pay for such an upgrade.
The question is what would be the best approach:
Yes, please...
+1, I'd be happy to pay for such an upgrade.
+1
How much would you be willing to pay for such app?
Difficult to answer that... Your apps seems reasonable prized to me, and really enjoy them. Whatever you say, I guess
I am probably the wrong guy to ask this because if an app delivers what I require, then I don't care that much about the price.
I say, at least 20 bucks.
This may sound crazy because the incredible BAM only costs 20 bucks at the moment.
And with BAM, i have a timeline and a matrix. And i can use the MIDI engine.
But a MIDI focused controller, matrix, timeline, sequencer app from Imaginando... shut up and take my money.
Instead of putting more things into LK you could start on a fresh slate, but with all the experience from LK and BAM, especially BAM.
MIDI 2.0 implementation should be considered because there are not a lot of options and it would make it future proof and even more stand out.
15-20 USD seems fair
Thanks for your amazing feedback.
What kind of features would you expect from such app to have that LK does not currently have?
Thank for the update… seems the ‘automation’ panel keeps returning to the top, so you cannot select CCs from the lower section of the panel..
Thanks for reporting. We'll try to make a new beta today to fix it
Thanks..
Hey Guys. Any plans to make that Time line module any time soon?
Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you know that the latest LK beta introduces many changes — one of the most important being a complete refactor of the Controller module. Its layout is now fully customizable, and you can create as many layouts as you like.
This has been a highly requested feature, and we’d love to hear your feedback on it!
Here's some other highlights of the beta:
First impression of the updated controller module: Amazing!
Nice.. looking forward to it…
Thanks
Looks great, can't wait to check it out!
One thing I'd love to see in LK is the ability to import and export to the .ablbundle (Ableton Note Project) format, similar to how you can export to .abl today. It would be crazy cool to be able to move MIDI sets between AUM and Note. I don't know how practical that is though, and there are other ways of skinning that cat
Greetings,
LK has been updated to version 1.14.0. What's new:

Some of the Best things on iOS just keep getting better!
Congrats on the update and release @sinosoidal
Thanks for your warm feedback!
Nice!
I must admit that LK Matrix was overtaken by Drambo clips for me, but with this update LK Controller suddenly becomes super useful:)
Thanks @sinosoidal looks like a great update! I’m gonna go play with it 😀
As I've just started using Ableton Live, can someone point me to a modernish youtube video showing what LK has to offer?
Nice update - definitely going to try these new features out. 👍
So, and this may be a dumb question, does this make sequencing in AUM more viable?
It gives you the equivalent of an Ableton Live "session view" in AUM, and you can use follow actions on the scenes/clips to create a basic arrangement. It does not give you a "timeline" or arrangement view. I've used it to record other sequencers (and performances) into clips and then play those clips. It's got a good piano roll editor and is pretty quick for things like programming drum loops etc. It's also a fully featured controller for Ableton Live, so you can use it to create clips in an AUM context, then export those clips as an Ableton project and then use it to perform the set/arrange things in Ableton, but of course your plugin settings will not make the journey to Ableton, just the MIDI clips. Fair warning: I have not actually done this, I just know LK has an "export to Ableton" feature.
