AUM jam (Cover/rendition of a melody written by Jay Hosking)

I was inspired by a video on YouTube by a fellow named Jay Hosking who posted a jam he wrote using a Synthstrom Deluge. The melody got stuck in my head, so with his permission, I decided to remake it entirely in AUM and add a few of my own bits.

I hope you guys like it!

  • I think I need to reconsider how to use Atom in AUM. This was an inspiring demo of
some tools I've neglected and a result that resonates with me like the works of Suzanne
Ciani and other early synth-based composers. It's like an electronic form of orchestration
of symphonic music with the added benefit of very, very large spiritual concert halls
and the non-intrusive audience: a meditative experience.

Nice work and thanks for sharing the screen capture. How are the drums generated?

Thank you! Yes, Atom has really grown on me.

In this particular jam, I’m using Drambo to sequence it’s own factory drum sounds.
