Generative music apps from Musico

I came across these today.

'Impro AI'

Control Musico's generative AI with
intuitive gestures for performances
that are never twice the same.

'Song'

Song lets anyone intuitively control
the Generative Music engine adding
real-time music effects to your voice.

'Musicfit'

Create the ultimate workout soundtrack
with an app that generates music in
sync with your body's movement.

They are currently in beta and are free.

They are not IAA or auv3.

Here's the link to their website.
You will find the App Store links there.

  • I tapped the i button and I got a 404 Not Found Server error.

I guess I'll have to screen record anything i do with it in order to reuse the audio.

    What i button?

    Doesn't the link work?

Yup most probably, unless you have an
audio device with multiple ins and outs.

The apps seem quite interesting and they have vst versions as well.

It says on their website that the apps are still in beta.
With no feedback maybe they can't see
the point of making them IAA or AUv3.

  • These are wicked. Pity they are not IAA or AUv3 I reckon I’ll just have to screen record

  • Just found it will record what it generates. Little red button on bot left. Where however does it store the sample

    I've had a look.

    Three bars top right.

    Edit.

I can't find a folder in the Files App and
no way to export the recordings as yet.

It's the button that I think of as "info button". The one that looks like a circle with letter i inside.

I don't know exactly what URI/URL it tries to load when I tap it.

    Ah...

I thought you meant the website link I had left.

Yup, I found the button you were referring to.
    Yup, same thing here.

I've already emailed the dev so I'm waiting for a reply.
I'll mention that to them and that we need
to be able to export the audio we record.

They are very interesting apps nonetheless.

  • They seem awesome. Gonna give them a try! Thanks

Just trying to understand this under the VSTs:
No implied license: upon downloading Impro, Musico grants and you receive no license under any Musico Intellectual Property.

    I see what you're saying.

Do they grant permission or not?

Are they saying they have intellectual property rights or not?

I can see how that can be confusing.
