Lida Baarova was a famous Czech actress at 21. She arrived in Hitler’s Germany around 1934. She became famous and eventually Goebbel’s mistress. Goebbel’s wife, Magda went to Hitler and the chief propagandist was forced to renounce Lida. She escaped to Czechoslovakia, her career destroyed. Tried for treason after the war she was pardoned and resumed her career. Power is the greatest aphrodisiac.
