Tutorial: What’s New in Classic FX 2.0 by Igor Vasiliev?
3 FREE COPIES OF THE APP AVAILABLE TO WIN!

Classic FX by Igor Vasiliev combines a bunch of cool FX like wah, chorus, flanger, vibrato, panner, echo, reverb and EQ, in one of the coolest interfaces of any app on iOS. You can morph seemlessly between two presets. This video gives an overview of the app and talks about the new features, including details on how to set up external modulation of the parameters inside apps like AUM.

Details of how to win a free copy of the app (Igor kindly provided 3 to give away) are available in the pinned comment at the top of the comments section on youtube.

  • Really liking the new update actually. The sliders drove me crazy on the original version, many pointed the wrong direction (at least, compared to what I found intuitive) and the reverb in the new one is very nice.

  • Well man you did it again. Thank you

  • Cheers! A very mellow one today!

  • Yep, great interface, weak sounds though. Thorough disappointment. Tinniest choruses I’ve maybe ever heard. I’ve found a couple synth pads it works well on but very very subtly, but it sounds awful on guitar.

  • Ah, that's interesting to hear. I was digging it on the pads I was playing it on. Haven't tried it on a wide variety of sounds. Definitely most of the presets are very tame and you need to crank the depth, feedback, wet etc to get something more interesting, but there are good sounds to be had - at least on done sources - if you do.

  • You know, after listening to the demo a second time, I obviously wasn't paying attention the 1st time..
I love that A/B preset morphing feature.. the sequencer is really cool.. exposed parameters, added EQ + Reverb.. this has kind of gone under the radar I think BUT it does sound very good.. obviously need to tweak it to your personal prefs.. that's a given with any multi-fx unit.. either they're over-the-top OR they're tame..

Un Québécois? My guess is his name is Jean-François Bergeron.

  • Thanks for checking! @Montreal_Music but if that is a typo, it is the one he himself made when writing his own name on his YouTube profile. So I'm guessing it's right. 😏😉
