Isn't Influencer the newest Marvel superhero?

Yep. YouTube has a bad case of influence-a.
(And don’t hog all the THC! Be over in 5 minutes, bringing pizza 🍕)

  • Actually, I think “content” or “content creator” is significantly less annoying when used as simply a general rubric for multiple kinds of media — for instance, someone who does music, and video, and graphic design, and journalism, and.. And increasingly, one person may be responsible for all that and more in this era.

    Brilliant. Copyright this quick.

  • I guess you’ll all just have to be content with content. Unless you get your shit together and stuff it.
My shit turned to stuff when I joined this forum. Prior to that Jism became jazz, orjazzum. My jazz transmogrified into recorded tracks. Tracks became records of stuff I made up. Now they sit archivally in a cloud of sound.... becoming records that will never be broken.

Influencer.info domain is up for sale - only $3,999.

  • This discussion reminds me of the different terminology used by Bill Gates and Steve Jobs 15 years ago. Gates used expressions like "just write more software to fix that problem", while Jobs used expressions like "let's create an app", basically considering each application as an individual piece of art instead of a formless blob.

As a client of this content delivery service, I have certain expectations that need to be met.

    Or I’ll sue.

I’m afraid that content trade name is already taken.

  • I’ll have to get creative and type it as...

    Çhæøš

  • I am using it as the verb or the adjective!

    Content: Make or become satisfied
Content : Satisfied or showing satisfaction with things as they are

  • Well you can rant all you want, but get used to it. Best to just stay in your bunker, like me, where it's constantly 1977-83.

    I’d like to loop 94-2000

  • “Beats”
    (without drums)

  • If we are going down this road then there is already a long list of words used to described things that don't compute and I'm sure it will only get worse. My advice, grab a beer and ignore the white noise.

  • @mistercharlie is writing all the articles at https://straightnofilter.com

He's producing all the content but I doubt he calls it that. It's a nice rant
about productizing art but let'd face it... if we could we might too. Most of us
    can't give our work away.

It’s not about giving things away vs. selling them. It’s about describing your own work as a product.

Having your song become a product in the end is fine of course. That’s how people make a living. My problem is that this commodification isn’t healthy when it comes before the creation.

  • its all 1s and 0s and contained within a certain content 🤪
i don’t have much to say on this cuz i just make dabble

That’s just a product of your imagination.

I was thinking the same thing. Wondering what alternative words would people here prefer or suggest then for this kind of generalized situation? Besides the already mentioned “shit”, “shat” “stuff”, “jism”, “jazzm”, “orjazzum”, (well played @LinearLineman 😆) etc...

Although I will admit I’m quite fond of being an Orjazzm Creator myself...
