Pitch tracking EQ? Drambo maybe?!
Been obsessed with pitch tracking eq on desktop, there are two I use, izotope nectar, and surfer eq. Any recs for iOS apps? Can Drambo do it? One would think ProQ could do it, but I don’t think it can.
Comments
Sure you could build one inside Drambo but how feasible that is depends on what exactly you want to do.
The peaking and channel EQs in Drambo don’t have modulation inputs unfortunately.
What you can do is midi learn EQ frequency. Use the chain: midi to cv (pitch cv) > CC gen > midi output.
That will allow you to use a 2nd instance of Drambo to track the EQs frequency via midi, and stay in tune. Resolution will be 127 steps, but it shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re using portamento.
Once loopback (my most anticipated feature) is implemented, you wouldn’t need a 2nd instance.
@aleyas BP12 with adjustable resonance is better than nothing, the real challenge is to detect multiple frequency peaks reliably.
