OUT now! Drowned in Bodrog by Makunouchi Bento
our new cinematic album is out today.
Drowned in Bodrog
by Makunouchi Bento
What happens to all the places that didn’t get swallowed by the flood, to all the heat trap cities that did not bake or go under, all of them former villages that await their drowned worlds, abodes for all those landlocked upright walking tetrapods, banished from the waters that spewed them, making a living swimming the dry lands on the bottom of gassy oceans, suntanned with moist expectation of promised storms...

@waka_x just out of curiosity what percentage of the project was completed on the iPad? All of it, or?
Poppadocrock:
sorry to dissapoint...
only 10-15 % is made on iPad.
I still use iPad/iPhone SE mostly in live acts (as instruments)
and sketching/composing lines,
not as a proper daw machine (we use Reaper and Renoise)
or mastering machine...
we have inhouse Kontakt and Reaktor instruments etc
so... maybe someday...
@waka_x
Thanks for being honest. That’s not a disappointment. I was just curious cause it sounded good, and was well done. I know the iPad has some limitations but it’s getting closer everyday. Ultimately you have to use the best options available to you to get it to sound how you want it to sound. I don’t blame you at all, you just want the best for your baby, lol.
I tried pc production many years ago, and after all the setting up, and learning the software with a lot less references available back then, I’m sad to say I gave up and stuck to my 8track, but subsequently that had to be sold for financial reasons. Anyways, Then I got iPhone 4s, and it slowly grew from there. A few apps got me started and it I slowly grew with new and better apps, and newerand larger Apple devices, now I’m like 6 years in, and have come a long way. You’ve actually given me a little push To go back and mess with some of the software both old and some newer free things I’ve acquired on my PC. Great album. Cheers!
Wow, very impressive. Just checked out this video too, so sweet!
