Yeay, yeay!
Another update is out
@cem_olcay
Any plans for a Bud2 Bundle? I can't keep track of all these buddies!
Ratchet currently only goes to 3 when it should go to 4. Dev has been informed and fix is coming.
Yes, I'll update my current Bud Bundle with the new ArpBud 2 and ChordBud 2 in the 2020 Holiday season.
I'm already making soooo little from my apps, bundles selling well but you make even less with bundle sales, not a fan tbh
If you'd share my apps with your friends and make them more visible to the people, that would help me a lot and you'd have more upcoming sales 👍
BTW -- new version 1.4.0 already been submitted, we are going to have copy/paste/delete for the patterns in the next update!!
I had no idea that bundles weren't helpful.
Buying ArpBud2 right now.
Copy/paste/delete function is now out: just long-press on the pattern number you want to copy, select ‘copy’, then add a new pattern and long press on the number that appears for that pattern, then select ‘paste’. Nice one @cem_olcay
Thanks..
Awesome. @cem_olcay has been putting in work on several of his apps lately, obviously ArpBud 2, and the upcoming Chord Bud 2.
The new update v1.5.0 is up!
Improves draw mode responsiveness, new swing algorithm, and a fix for the random ratchet bug. Check it out, it’s really stable now!
Just tried. So far so good. Thanks @cem_olcay
Thanks...

Actually, you can do similar "chord chopping" in RhythmBud
Ok.. I’m gonna get it... Thanks.. 😎
Random tip: Did you know that you can set the rate and the swing values by double-tapping their knob?
😎👍🏼
@cem_olcay Nice! And does it now remember the settings you want for moving knobs, like horizontal and vertical etc?
I did not know that. Awesome. Thanks @cem_olcay
A new update is on the way! A lot of people requested that one. I know adding/removing steps is kinda inconvenient for the people who want to work with a lot of steps. So, I added a new "#" button that you could set the step count immediately! Going to release in a few days.
Superb Cem, thnx
yes!!! adding steps like this will be perfect
@cem_olcay It would be great to get some these updates for Step Bud too. 🙂
I love this app and have left a glowing review.
What’s the best way to sequence the patterns? As a simple example, if I wanted three bars of pattern 1 and a single bar of pattern 2.
Oh, you mean something like this?
Yep, it's coming to StepBud as well, in v.1.6.1 👍
Well, the answer is StepBud! You can use StepBud's MIDI CC sequencing capabilities and sequence the pattern numbers via MIDI CC messages in all Bud plugins!
Here's a quick demo:
Perfect! Thanks.
I can’t see the CC in StepBud. Is it a future update or does it need to be enabled somehow?
The workflow with stepbud, chordbud, RhythmBud and ArpBud looks great. Well done on making such an intuitive family of apps.
There's a MIDI settings button on the settings strip in StepBud. In the video above, like in 0:16, I'm showing the MIDI section.
You can scroll down and add as many "custom MIDI CC"s as you want. Ones you add them, they will appear at the end of the mode strip. From there you can set the CC values for each step 👍
Scroll the bottom bar until you see MIDI. Click there then scroll to the bottom and then Add New MIDI CC. The new CC will be found at the far right of the second bar from the bottom. Repeat to add more CCs.
(Note: Small bug maybe @cem_olcay ... when I first added the first CC I couldn’t increment it beyond 15. But when I returned to the midi settings I could then increment it and future CC’s higher. I confirmed this on a second instance. It only affects the first CC added in a new instance.)
Thanks for taking the time to explain. That works perfectly.
