Hi.

If I sample from TubeAU, without audio interface and just ipad. Will it be worse sound quality?

    It should be the exact quality as what youtube is streaming.

    Hi AudioGus. So it wont matter if I record in AUM with just ipad soundcard as dont like sitting on stool when I dont have to.

    Do I need to set AUM at 16bit 41k rather than 24k etc.

    Higher sample rate and bit depth isn’t going to make a difference. Youtube audio is compressed and lossy anyway. I’d just go with iPad’s native sample rate — probably 48k , or, if not , 44.1

    Will set aum to 48k.

    It reduces latency

    I get to add more soundshaping when dithering to 41k.

    Neither will be noticable.
