Email Jonatan the AUM dev to ask for a midi player to be added, you never know!

I'm guessing you already did that. Despite the quirks of having to involve a 3rd party app in my workflow, I'm ok on my end.

Also, before i ask any developer for something, I need to have my requests written down to reasonable detail - something more useful than just "dude give me a midi player". The more details I'm able to provide, the less likely the dev will go in a wrong direction and sell me an app that is a poor fit for my needs.

AUM needs a midi recorder too.

I'm aware it has no MIDI recorder. There was some confusion because Poppedcrock said "yes" when I asked if Audioshare can save MIDI. This conversation was earlier in the thread if you want to see the context.

I use Sunvox AU to record MIDI in AUM.

I didn't! Bit busy and I now have Photon for that and Xequence2 😂

  • Such a cool app!
I wish it went down to 5 BPM :#

Sorry, I realized my post could be read the wrong way.

What I meant was I'd want to gather a list of what I'd want out of a MIDI player/recorder (I want to record MIDI happening a session, not just play MIDI) with some reasonable detail, like how many tracks I'd need, how many channels, what MIDI CCs would be absolutely critical to what I want to do, etc.

I only held off my purchase for your announcement. Time to buy the IAP

    Samesies

  • Maybe people can post short clips of some of the ways they're using the midi out, would love to see / hear those setups. With this app it's so fun to compare the original audio and what you can end up with after putting it through different instruments / effects.
