Chameleon Sampler - simple "Drum Guide" tutorial

edited August 2020 in App Tips and Tricks

made this for @iOSTRAKON , thought it mite be useful here.. anyway,..
this is a dumb 32 slot sample trigger.
Ok, first make a "new" preset and enable drumguide mode like this

now, import all sounds u need (32 max in drumguide) select them and press open
Note; All drumpads from 1-32 will be populated in the order you imported the samples... if that makes sense..(no you can not move them around after boooooooo 4pockets).. so pick a folder you prepared beforehand...

now, it defaults to "mono" ( global).. switch that off

now, save the preset (to the right). it will be saved inside the app. again why 4p?
uuh..
to export /share presets we need to use "backup" and "restore"

locate where you want to export it and tap "create document". thats it.

  • yeah Stix is better for drums ofc. still its doable with chameleon with alot of hassle involved :#

choke groups?nope. you need digistix for that. Well if you run it in monophonic mode it cuts off.. in a brute choke haha.. ofc...This "drum mde" is just a dumb 32 slot sample trigger. (got pitch for each slot.. thats about it).. use it for loops, fx, slices whatever
