  • Thanks so much @And_Nembrini 💣💣💣

  • Nice, I’ve gone full Pokémon on these and can’t take advantage.

Please make a Peavey Rage clone so I can relive being 17 :)

  • Not seeing it yet here in ‘murica. Guess I’ll keep my eyes out and finish the collection when it pops. But THANKS!

  • Not in Canada? I don’t see the discount on the AppStore Canada.

  • The flash sale starts tomorrow and lasts for 48 hours only, so hurry up 😜

  • If you only own 1 Nembrini Amp and like a specific sound I suggest:

Clean tones - Cali Reverb (built in reverb too just 'cause... most amp sims don't add it)
Classic Rock - MRH810 (also does excellent clean which really surprised me)
    Metal - 8180 Monster Tube

And always get the FREE Crunck V2 and if you like clean just turn the Gain down to 3-6%.

Someone will help position the Sound Master Custom Tube and anyone if free to counter my advice.

Remember when we begged someone to make an AUv3 Amp Sim? "They're here."

The 8180 is not only for metal contrary to popular opinion. The rhythm channel is a Marshall plexi. Nembrini are the only company that took lots of care in replicating that channel. It goes from light distortion to ac/dc

The lead channel is what made this amp famous in the metal world.

Yes. Many like the range of the 8180 beyond it's "Monster" reputation. I find it lifeless for the Tube saturations I covet... it's personal. For me that Tube goodness is in the Cali Reverb
but please shre your views since we all have different tases. The "Marshall-based" MRH810 might be the most versatile to make me happy with the clean tube tones and still
distort for classic metal. Many think of the 8180 in those terms since Eddie pushes the envelope of a classic Marshall with Modifications in his version (ie 5150).

I understand pre-sellling, but I do hate being turned on to something (Cali reverb :)), but then being told 'not just yet...' Often find myself at a different bordello down the street is all I'm saying....

Were you around for the Drambo "blueball" experience?

These seem pretty pricey for just one amp. Especially the desktop. Holy, 137 dollars for ONE amp?!

We have trained them to use the $10 rule for IOS cheapskates.

They include slimmed down "cabinets" to make the AUv3 use less CPU. They have mentioned they will likely release an IR reverb FX app. Until then use ThAFKnAR (AUv3)
or one of the Midiculous options. Fiddlicator is a free IAA to use while you wait and iConvolver (IAA) is still the app of choice for @flo26 no matter what he puts in front of it.

Ownhammer IR's in the 500ms form are worth the $10 too. Just get a pack... there will be dozens to choose from.

  • Whoa... flash sale u say

  • Nice, love a flash sale
Much better than say a flash flood!

Is there a convolution reverb on the iOS Cali where you could load your own IRs? Looks like there is on the desktop version.

There is a convolution reverb, but no, you can't load your own. There's a large selection of pre-packaged IRs, and you can turn it off and use an external IR app if you like.

Again, i am speechless as no link is supplied.
But this seems how things are done, nowadays.

Sorry, my bad, I’m doing my best but I’m really busy atm. Next time I will be more accurate.

@tja has managed to find over 500 apps in the app store and it's made him cranky when
he isn't given 1st class service

At least this time you didn't get accused of being sexist ... yet. 🙄

  • Gotta put in a 👍 for the BST100, my personal favorite. It also has a great clean with a different flavor than the also excellent Cali Reverb clean.

  • Sales pricing is in force in California, Pacific Standard Time.
Are you ready for the weekend?

  • Thanks for the heads up on the sale - it’s live! Looking to buy just one or two of these because I heavily invested in the other apps years ago and later abandoned them.

Thinking the Cali Reverb Modern Hi Gain is the way to go. Cleans, drive, and built in reverb - sounds quite versatile.

Has anyone tried The Boss LED Diode Distortion? I’m a little rusty but based on the description and artwork, it looks like a Marshall Guv’nor model ($4.99). Dirt pedals are often a weak point of modelers - something weird about getting the gain staging right without dropping out all low end, or losing all transparency.

You are correct, The Boss is the Guv’nor, and like the rest of the Nembrini products, it behaves beautifully due to impeccable attention to circuitry modeling. Whether it sounds exactly the same I can’t say, but it definitely sounds like a real hardware pedal on your board.

The Boss is the lead channel on their Mrh810 amp, but in a pedal. So if you got the Cali Reverb and the Boss you’d be pretty happy I think, but you could also get the Cali and the Mrh810...

Love the clean on the BST100! To me it has a certain coldness, moody and almost vintage sounding to my ears. It’s unique. Cali Reverb clean is hard to beat as well!

$10 is definitely a good price for an analog modeled amp of this quality. For example an Overloud amp and matching cab ala carte are $5 each so it’s the same price, since Nembrini comes with the cab. In addition, Nembrini amps offer all the channels of the amp in one sim, rather than just a clean or lead channel per amp face.

I’m actually really pleased with the clean on the 8180 and pleasantly surprised. Of course the lead channel is voiced beautifully. For my taste 8180 is much better than Overloud’s 5150s, which is probably one of the very few misses in their otherwise extraordinary full pack.

All the Nembrinis have really usable and characterful cleans, with the Sound Master being surprisingly the least clean of the bunch.

  • That's great feedback, @JoyceRoadStudios , thanks. Cali Reverb definitely looks like the place to start.

Also really looking at that Delay 3000 - that one really seems to tick all the boxes with modulation, filter settings, etc.

@StormJH1 Besides the nice set of features, most
importantly the audio resolution, sound quality, and fidelity of the Delay 3000 is incredible. I think it’s worth the price, and when occasionally half-off it’s an absolute no-brainer.
