Video based sampler?
I used to have a fun little iPhone app where you could record videos into pads and play with your samples afterwards. Somewhat like Koala sampler but with video clips rather than audio clips. I have forgotten the name of the app right now, but last i checked it was discontinued.
Does anyone know of any apps that’s can do such a thing nowadays? Preferably with imported video clips
EDIT: I found the app. It was called CamBox. The developer has another app called vidibox, maybe that app can do the trick? I will look into it.

I'd love that for sure!
Adding hit-points to the time line of one or more video clips and trigger them with midi notes with optional video effects controlled by midi CC's would be so much fun
We'd see a boom of videos like this...

Here is a quick video of CamBox :
I would love and app like this, but with a sequencer too and the ability to import video on top! It seems almost weird to me if an app like this does not exist currently?
Yes! 😍
An AUv3 MIDI triggered video clip launcher.
This is not exactly what you are looking for but I think it is very close. Check this one, it is amazing

I've been using this one:
TouchViZ by Hexler Limited
https://apps.apple.com/en/app/touchviz/id486139371
But it's not available as AUv3 and there's no iPhone support so it basically only really makes sense with 2 iPads connected via (Bluetooth) MIDI.
The reason why I rarely use it is that clips are only launched with a fairly high delay and clips can neither be re-started in sync nor can their position be controlled, other than that it would be a great app!
Only for Mac tho but it is so clever ... https://ebosuite.com/
Just tried Vidibox and it can trigger clips instantly which TouchViz can't. 👍🏼
